We provide procurement technical assistance to help companies in the selling of their products or services to the appropriate government agency by offering confidential counseling at no cost. The core of our procurement assistance program is counseling and education.
FREE PTAC Services
The Monterey Bay PTAC’s services are FREE. Clients/potential clients should be aware that there are many websites that look “official” but will charge for their services. In general, if a website url ends with “.gov” (e.g., www.sam.gov), it’s probably safe to assume it’s a legitimate Government website. It the url ends in “.com”, beware…you may have to pay for services rendered by the site. Government entities DO NOT charge for their services such as registrations, certifications, and the like. If in doubt, contact the Monterey Bay PTAC for advice/assistance regarding this matter.
